West End Live Print (Live-Illustration)

A live-sketch of the crowds at West End Live in Trafalgar Square in June 2026. An amazing musical theatre event, that I was inspired to try and capture whilst I was sat there watching in the crowd. On Sunday, The Lion King cast opened the show with an incredible performance, which I have featured in this painting. In total it took me 4 hours (with breaks in between to watch the amazing performers!) 

With more time and planning in my studio, I may have painted it differently, but there’s something really fun about painting it with the electric atmosphere all around me! I even used water from the fountain to paint with!
