Chiswick Riverside Print

Inspired one of my favourite views in Chiswick, this original mixed media design shows rowers on the River Thames during a strikingly colourful sunset. When I moved to London, I only ever imagined it could be busy and stressful, but walking along the river in Chiswick quickly made me realise just how peaceful and homely some areas are... this is one of them. I've seen some beautiful skies from here, so this painting is inspired by my favourite sunsets. I'm always jealous of the rowers on the river too as it seems such a wonderful place to view them from. It would be a great gift for someone else who loves this spot in London, or to brighten up any home!

Painted using watercolours, gouache paints and posca pens.
